Leave it to brutally honest Phillip to be the first to respond to such a thread lol...

Truthfully, just the fact that I'm here posting should tell you what I think. This is one of two boards I post at regularly and I own or partially own 3 others.

I gave an 8, mainly because there is always room for improvement on anything. There are good choices for colors and banners and such and the images are always up and showing - a big problem on lots of boards (images blinking in and out or disappearing completely).

The one thing I can add criticism too is the board orders and organization. There may be more than necessary, and the threads die out and slow down - but if anyone here figures out how to solve that problem completely please share it with me because I've struggled with that on all my boards. The one thing I have done that seems to work pretty good is that I try to reply to any new thread every member makes and that seems to be the case here too as there is always at least one answer to a thread sooner or later.

My favorite part about THMFC is the atmosphere. There are no mods telling you where to post and what to say and when. Overactive a-hole staff is the number one killer of boards in my opinion. And most importanly, I have fun, especially with the NFL contest. That's a hard thing to keep going and Jason deserves a lot of credit for making it an annual thing.

My score - 8

Thanks, MIB!! Brutally honest is all I can hope for! [image]

It's pretty easy to let your guard down and have those images blinking on and off. Especially when you rely on so many javascript and HTML codes. My smilie code recently caused many of the board images to appear as red x's. I'm gonna have to modify it in some way to be able to add the extra smilies that were here before.

When I'm not so freakin sleepy and out of it I'll copy mine for you if you want it. I got it from some code board and it's annoying but not as bad as the one on Proboards I had at first. I'm afraid to mess around in the codes of my board right now I might erase the whole thing ;D

I got so tired of photobucket and imageshack deleting/losing whatever happens... all my images that I just found a good pay image host with unlimited storage. It has been worth it for me because I take so many pictures, but most people wouldn't get their money's worth doing that. Sometimes you just can't help the red x's, but some boards just leave them for like... ever. I don't see you ever letting that happen here.

I had an image problem for a while, here, with the red x's and I thought it was photobucket for a while. I had to debunk everything and I finally found out it was the smilie code. What I'm not sure of, now, is if it's the smilie code, or the amount of smilies I had on the board. It's gonna take some more work to do, but you can still use the smilies if you know the codes to type in...

Example

Just don't leave spaces in between the colons.

I give it a 9. The thing is there are a lot of useless kinda pointless threads. But I love the flow and the option to choes your banner.
