Received 1st scam e-mail

Oh, thought I'd share this with ya'll! haha! Checked my hubby's e-mails today and he received his 1st scamming e-mail about some general in Hong Kong looking for an next of kin to give all his twenty some millions of dollars to. Gives some hype and ask for full names, addresses and personal phone numbers. Oh, what a scam! I've received such ones before but, it was his first one. We laughed our butts off. Then, I forwarded it to a local TV news station. I figure even though we know it's a scam, there really are people out there that are gullible enough to get suckered into it. My neighbor sent over $2500.00 to some scammers over in Egypt thinking she'd won this major sweepstakes. Thought she was helping some prince of Egypt get to the US and then be reimbursed. Instead, she got scammed and lost all her money and was put on what scammers call a "sucker list". Anyone else been getting scam e-mails or ones in the post office mail?

I've got tons of those. They don't realize I'm the KING of
scamnation baby.
Nonetheless, they're pain in the butt.
I recall one such scam where a dude sends me a winning
lottery ticket that sure will make me billionair...I thought, hmmm.

People shouldn't get too caught up with that kind of thing,
plus scammers are still 6 year olds thinking it'll work.

That's funny... I never really get scammers... I only check emails that I know arent frauds.. I'll get the occasional (WIN A MILLION DOLLARS!!) That I never bother to look at. Haha

There's been some real winners when it comes to scamming in my valley. Just was told the other day a friend of mine told me thru IM'ing, she was scammed real hard. Told she won some sweepstakes and had to send $12.00 in for a processing fee. So, she did. Then, sent her something else said she had to pay the taxes and all that jazz and wanted over a thousand dollars. Someone told her it was a scam. So, she told the people to take it out of her winnings. I wonder if she'll hear from them again? I told her yesterday, it's a scam too. There is no easy money. I know I'm getting tired of playing the Deal or No Deal thing on tv every week. Getting keyboard-idous on my fingers. hahahahaha!!!!!!!!

Something needs to be done about these scammers.
Isn't that illegal?

I think so. Especially if they scam a whole lot of money from a person and doing it to others, not just one. It's catching them, is the problem.

Shouldn't be that hard should it? Trace the I.P and Email addresses? I dunno. I'm no expert. I'll let them do their jobs.

Yeah, no wonder so many people end up buying new ones here and there. They smashed their old ones. haha!
