What were you doing when you heard the horrible news of Eddie's passing. Most people I know found out when RAW came on. I was up and ready to leave on Monday Morning when my dad called me on the phone and told me. I had heard about it on the news the night before but it was one of those things, "Find out at 11" I couldn't stay up. But my dad called me the next morning and asked if I knew some wrestler named Eddie Guerrero. My heart sank. No. This isn't possible. It has to be a mistake. Please tell me its a mistake. I said, yes I knew him. He said, "Well, I heard on the radio his nephew found him dead in his motel room. I might be mistaken because I wasn't paying too close attention to it, but I'm pretty sure thats what I heard. Sorry to give you the bad news." I said its ok. And we hung up. I was praying that he was still alive. throughout the day. I got home at 1 and checked WWE.com and sure enough, it was Eddie Guerrero. I don't know why I'm taking his death so hard. I didn't even cry at my Grandpa's funeral and I was bawling through some of RAW. I can't help but shed a tear as I type this. It feels weird having such huge remorse for a guy you never spoke to let alone have even met. I can only imagine how the wrestlers, family and friends are taking this. Goodbye Eddie. Not only were you a great entertainer, you were a great man. You stole all our hearts and you will forever be missed.

I love that Eddie pic. I actually found out Sunday afternoon when our fellow member Jeremy posted a thread on Tommy's site. Then I went to wwe.com just to make sure because I was in shock. I sent this to wwe.com the day after Eddie died. By writing it makes me feel a tiny bit better. Since hearing of Eddie's passing yesterday I've been overwhelmed with tears and sorrow. He was such a great wrestler and entertainer and left us far too young. I've had the privilege of following his career since his days in WCW, so I have many fond memories of him that I will forever cherish. One of those would be Chris Benoit and Eddie at WrestleMania standing center ring as Champs. Personally that was like a dream come true because those guys were so deserving and worthy of having that opportunity. Eddie thanks so much for all the great memories and bringing enjoyment into my life as well as countless others. There will never be another quite like you and your star will forever shine. I do have comfort knowing your in a better place now. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. RIP Eddie!! My thoughts are definitely with your family and friends through this difficult time.

I was just getting home from work and turned on my computer and I think I went to the Sherdog website because there was a PPV the previous night and i was gonna check out the results. anway, at the top of the mainpage on Sherdog they have the most recent posts in the forum listed and one of them said " R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero" so i clicked on it and people over there were talking about how he died. i started checking out some of my local news sites because I heard that he was right here in my town and then i found out that he literally died just a few blocks from where i live and it was a little weird.
