could it by chance be Gangtas Paradise Hmm....I'm a huge fan of Tupac. I have pretty much all of his albums with the exception of maybe 1 or 2. I could guarantee you that it is not Gangsta's Paradise. Coolio did that one.

Well, imo Tupac and Coolio have two distinctly different sounds. Then again, I have been listening to Tupac since 1993 when I was only 12. Tupac's sound is more raw and Coolio....to put it nicely, was just a fad.

He had his moments. I enjoyed his first album for the most part. Plus, Gangsta's Paradise was a very powerful song. Other than that, he was all hype with not much delivery.

yeah, kinda reminds me of Ja Rule. Said he grew up in the street and was shot at all the time, but everyone came to find out that was bull shit and 50 cent finally started talking shit to him and he finally shut up.

2pac is without a doubt the best rapper of all time. The only other 2 rappers to show as much emotion as him would be Eminem and DMX. However Eminem won't always be as serious as 2pac and a lot of time the focus will be on his lyrics rather than his voice. DMX’s beats don’t always match his vocals. Even on harder tracks like Slipping DMX normally won’t be as heartless as 2pac, he is a Christian and it shows.
2pac was so personal with his lyrics and that always seems to separate artists. A lot of rappers nowadays have nothing to say, however those that do are much more interesting. On tacks like “Dear Momma” you felt like you got to know 2pac, especially his softer side. 2pac wasn’t always a loud mouth and if you see a lot of his interviews you will see that. He had a temper like a lot of people and some were turned off by it. However, I found it just as interesting especially on tracks like “Hit em up”.
2pac lived what he spoke about and he was never afraid to say what he felt, which unfortunately led to his demise.
