As soon as I log off window INTERNET and onto AOL, I'll have a photo of some bad skin/wound care that I would love to show members. If you have a love one in a nursing home or a hospital for a lengthy amount of time, you may want to keep a close eye on them for wounds. (THIS IS A WOUND ON MY HUBBY'S BOTTOM THAT'S 6 TO 7 INCHES LONG AND 5 INCHES WIDE & 2 1/2 CM. DEEP. THIS IS WHAT THE WOUND LOOKED LIKE AFTER 2 MONTHS AT A HOSPITAL IN SEATTLE, WA. NOW, IT'S TAKING A LONG TIME TO HEEL. WITH THE PROPER WOUND CARE AND OINTMENTS, IT IS HEELING. I PUT THIS PICTURE HERE SO PEOPLE WILL SEE IT AND WILL LET OTHER KNOW THAT HOSPITALS AND NURSING HOMES CAN NEGLECT TOO. ALSO, THIS HOSPITA WAS SUPPOSE TO BE EXPERTS ON WOUND/SKIN CARE. DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT? NOT!!!!!!!!)

Yeah that is nasty. Here's a few more I would love to share. Hope no one has eaten yet. They're nasty wounds too. (This is a blister that was formed on my hubby's' foot. He's foot was on the foot rest of the hospital bed and he was left like that for 10 hrs. The bed was a special one that would tilt.) (We'd already had his left heel healed once before. But, thanks to some dumb ass nurses, they let his feet rest on top of each other and didn't rotate the heel protectors and this blister formed on his heel.) (Here we call this major infection. Every couple days the nurses are to check and clean the area where his feeding tube is inserted into his stomach. The area and gauze hadn't been done for awhile as you can see. Dried blood and totally green looking. The camera didn't do a good job of showing the green. But, damn did it smell.) Yes, I showed this to the floor nurses at this hospital. Seems like there were only a couple who actually knew what they were doing and actually gave a damn in helping him. The big blister on his big toe and top part of his foot, actually finally popped and it healed great. So, did the one on his heel. I would like to take a updated photo when the one on his bottom heels. To think, these people are still doing this to people over there. Mostly because of the lack of knowledge and communication gap between nurse and patient. People over there have tracheotomies and can't talk. They're there to get off vent. machines that help people breath or skin care. The nurses are from around the world and let me tell ya, they don't speak that good of English and they just nod their heads and walk away. I wonder how they even got a license to be a nurse.

No joke. To stay at your husband's side after all this is very respectable.

I agree. Sheès been good faithful wife over the years, loving only her best hubby...though she had some crush with her JJ before when she made her confession at Internet Confession thread, but always stayed with her hubby through and through.

JJ who? I don't remember. Talking about my junkyard jason neighbor? He's just a little puke I was eye balling a couple times, now I want to slam his face in the dirt half the time. Anyhow, I am a damn good wife. Damn straight! lol. After putting up with all I do for 10 yrs. The last g/f his had left him after 4 yrs of him being put into a wheelchair and after his money from a lawsuit ran dry, she took off. She even tried to kill him. Put a gun to the back of his head while he was trying to get a pizza out of the oven. Walked up behind him and pulled the trigger but, it was on safty. Find out 3 days later, she put a 2 million dollar life insurance on him. Now, aint that some cold hearted shit there. But, I don't mind taking care of my man. He does get on a nerve with me now and then but, 10 yrs going strong with every up and down moment. That's the longest I've ever been in a relationship. hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! How 'bout you guys? Jason...still with Stacey? Getting married soon or what?

Yep! Still with Stacey! A little young to be married right now. Lots of other priorities first. Like college and full time jobs!
