Hesperia, California: 14-20 Inches of Snow

My town gets snow every few years if we're lucky, but for the first time since I've lived here, (16 years) my town of Hesperia, California was hit with 14-20 inches of snow. So, like some damn moron, I decided to ride my bike today. All in all it was pretty fun, but very tough, considering Hesperia isn't properly equipped with snow plows and such. Weather up here is very odd. Yesterday alone, we got about 20 inches of snow. Today, the weather feels like it's in the 70's or 80's (Fahrenheit) without a cloud in sight.

Our snow, at times in my area, looks like flakes of dandruff. lol. Getting most of it in the mountains and that's where we need it most to fill up the lakes. Should we send you some snow shoes to put on your feet, Rob? lol Skis?

Last year's winter we had over 120 feet of it in the mountains. Pretty good snow fall I'd say. But, I don't know how many feet has fallen up there now. We got a late snow fall. Didn't start up until around the 10th of this month.

Hmm, interesting. Is it true that it rains 9 months out of the year out there? With very little sun?

Well...it's hard to say Robette, considering I did hard time in Correctional Centers through out the winter....but I do know that Thunder Bay recieves heavy doesage of snowfalls.About the rain part, it seldom rians, just brief moments, which was ok.
