It may sound biased, but I would definitely put Kyle Orton in the discussion. The guy is putting up monster yardage and carrying the team on his back. He isn't doing it like Elway did, obviously, but he's keeping us in games. Peyton is slaughtering defenses, as usual, and Vick/Kolb are playing above average.

Here's my mid-season QB rankings - I'm judging them on rating, TD to INT, completion percentage and of course wins... and also taking into consideration what they have to work with. He must seem like a devil to every opposing D Two years ago I would have thought that this Orton would have been just as good in Denver... but.... Now this Orton is outplaying the dude he replaced! 1. Peyton Manning - he still destroys defenses with pretty much no talent around him. Even the adequate receivers he has had are hurt now and he's still killing teams with backups to backups. The most unbelievable stat... 15 td to 2 ints... you've got to be kidding me! 2. Kyle Orton - I put him ahead of Philip Rivers simply because he has no running game and little else to work with. If he had the wins and a bit higher rating he'd be up there with Manning this year. 3. Philip Rivers - I can't understand how this team puts up numbers like this and still loses. His rating is OK but he should have more wins and tds with the talent around him. 4. Tom Brady - I hate complementing him so just me ranking him here is all I'm going to give him. 5. Matt Cassel - Very quietly Cassel is earning the amount the Chiefs spent on him. With a 90 rating and a 10 to 2 td to int ratio... he should be getting Pro Bowl consideration if all the other top qbs were not also in the AFC. Honorable mention is Vince Young, Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb who don't have enough playing time for me to qualify them. Young is on fire if he can stay healthy.

Can't argue, there. I believe our top 3 are identical. It's hard to put anyone over Manning right now. And as much as I hate to admit it, Phylis Rivers is doing very well, too. I also love how you impliment pictures. Awesome stuff.

Well, I kind of hope Rivers has to sit a game or two for some reason (I don't wish a major injury or anything... maybe the flu or something... or even bad cardio in the 2 minute drill lol). He is on pace for Marino's yardage record. I realize that will fall pretty quickly when the NFL goes to 18 games, but I'd like for old Danny Boy to be the only one to ever do it in 16.

Brees NEARLY passed him a couple years ago. He passed just 20 yards, or so, behind Marino.

Trust me I was sweating heavily during that game. And he just missed that last bomb that would have broken the record. All that evens out however because if you go back and look at most of Marino's games, Duper and Clayton and company dropped about 30 percent of Dan's passes lol... It was all Dan's fault though because he continuously hit them in bad places like: right between the numbers and directly on both hands

If there was ONE person I wouldn't want to break Dan's record it'd be Philip Rivers. Followed directly behind is Brady.
