I haven't watched these two movies in quite awhile. I wouldn't consider one being better than the other though. I enjoyed them both equally. By the way, I heard the third one is coming out this month.

I've watched Blade 1 & 2.
Both of'em are greato movies.

I'm hopein to watch 'Blade Trinity'

Wesley Snipes sure plays well a vampire,
never known a vampire can be black,but oh well.
I like Snipes nonetheless.

I watched Blade 3 Trinity and loved it. That King character sure was hilarious with some of those lines he had. I thought all three films were wonderful.

blade 2 was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better then the first

I like the first one, for the following reasons:

1. It shows vampires as individuals. Some are smart, some are stupid, some are cultured, some are slobs.

2. It incorporates the idea of an ancient vampire ruling caste, with that House of Erebus thing, and adds the intrigue of the born vampires vs the turned vampires.

3. The fact they had their own languages was cool, acknowledging their demon ancestry.

4. Explaining ghouls as "vampires gone wrong" was cool, i.e. that coroner guy from the beginning who ends up all ghoul-like living in that dungeon.

5. Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristoffersson were both perfectly cast.

Im a big fan of the Midnight Son's, Snipes was perfectly cast. So far three of the Midnight Son's have had a movie(s), Blade, Ghost Rider, and Man-Thing. Now we just need the Werewolf By Night, and Morbius movies.

I'm sure we all have films that we're ashamed to say we haven't seen yet. The Blade trilogy is mine.
