why i think this was a big hit for horror fans is because they probably like the fact that a childhood toy comes to life and murders everyone. Now can you imagine being five and seeing your doll grab a knife and kill someone? Thats why i like it.

I LOVED the first 3, but I think they lost it with Bride of Chucky. I just never could get into it, it was too goofy for me. It went against what the Child Play series stood for. Chucky was never meant to have a woman. The series always was a little campy, but they took it way too over the top with BOC. Where were the elements of horror present in the first 3? It turned into a slapstick comedy with BOC. I'm a sucker though, and I'll probably still see Seed of Chucky.

They are all great. Brad Dourif makes the series fun! My favorites are Child's Play and Bride of Chucky. yeah, i cant imagine a different voice for Chucky. kinda like freddy. I cant imagine a different character for him |
