I got to go to a TNA house show a few months ago. It was a great experience. They really do a nice job of catering to the fans at these events. There are chances to meet the wrestlers and get tons of autographs. I even got my picture made in the ring with RVD and Jeff Hardy.

TNA let me take my Nikon camera in, something WWE won't allow. Because of that I was able to get some of the best wrestling pictures I've ever taken.

and finally... yep, this dude proposed in the ring... she said yes.

Loved the pics with you, RVD and Jeff Hardy. They were favorites for me growing up.

It's a good thing she said yes! Can you imagine how he'd feel if it was this dude...

Honestly, I'm not judging this girl, they could've been together 2 days for all we know. Still sad to see.

Man, that's got to suck for that dude. But, like you said you don't know the whole story. You have to make sure you know she'll say yes before you go that far.


It reminds me of a time at the Mt. Mitchell restaurant. We had just closed and I had already broken down the kitchen (grill and ovens cold etc...), when Marii came back and asked me to come out to talk to some customers who wanted to see the manager. She said this guy wanted me to reopen the kitchen. I told her that after 12 hours on a busy Sat. they really didn't want to see me as bad as they thought. So she left and came back a minute later and said that the guy insisted on seeing me because it was supposed to be their anniversary dinner.

So I went out there and the guy just laid into me like I stole his kids or something. I waited on him to get done and I said calmly... "My kitchen is closed, we work in a state park and the hours are set by them. Maybe next time you forget to make plans for your anniversary and then lie to your wife about it, at least you'll be smart enough to call ahead to see if your backup place is still open." And then I went back in the kitchen.

Whoa! And that was it? What was the guy's reaction when you told him that? Anything like my little smilie, above?

I wonder if they got into a fight about him probably forgetting about their anniversary

That was pretty much it. He never said another single word. I just remember that the girl looked extremely mad.
