Of course I love your mentioning of Psycho. Unforgiven, Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Black Christmas are major highlights for me. And dammit I really need to see Heat.

Of course I love your mentioning of Psycho. Unforgiven, Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Black Christmas are major highlights for me. And dammit I really need to see Heat. anthony perkins became a legend in mine eyes just with that one role there and as good as he was as an actor no fault to him really at all but every other role i seen him portray i couldn't separate them from norman bates clint eastwood again without overusing this word too often or lightly this one he became a legend dirty harry made him an icon and the spagetti westerns made him an international star texas chainsaw massacre is as raw and real as it gets its nightmare of a ride for sally hardesty and friends were just along for the ride the graininess, the superb direction from tobe hooper, and the acting is first rate you really can't ask anything more from a horror movie especially so low budgeted one last note it didn't have to rely on blood at all which is difficult to do in any era of horror its what you don't see and left for your imagination ... black christmas is the very definition to me of what a classic is and the character of billy and seeing it so much through his eyes is unforgettable heat you gotta see pacino and de niro light the screen on fire with their brillant, the supporting cast is very good especially kilmers performance, the story is engaging, the movie never drags, the direction is great, and i could have easily watched this if it were an hour longer lol and it is a long movie no spoilers here but when two legends meet is it leaves you in awe and brought goose bumps to me first time i seen it and the ending is very well done

I've only heard good things about Heat. It's definitely one that I need to pick up soon.

Heat is the best modern cop/shootout film in history. The gun battle on the street is art in motion.

Haven't seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. My friend thinks it might be his favorite movie. Might need to see that movie.

It's completely hilarious if you like dark comedies.

Yes. When you mentioned dark comedies it was the first that came to mind. My all time favorite dark comedy, I'm sure. I'd definitely recommend it. It might be pretty offensive, though. Perfect for a guy like me who seldom gets offended.
