Haha. Oh man. The Eagles Packers game was great. A shame, though. If Akers hadn't missed those two field goals, they would've won. I'm sure they'll keep him on the team, but wow. I wasn't expecting that frmo a kicker of that calibur.

The GB game would have been different if Akers hadn't missed those kicks, but I think Rodgers and company would not have let up on the gas if he'd made either one of them. They seemed in control except for the bonehead turnovers. I really thought Vick was going to win it at the end. I believe he was more hurt than he let on. He has played really well this year... I just don't think he's been as good as some of the analysts have said. You and I both know that those two good games he had in a row where everyone was going gaga over him were just average days by Marino and Elway... that is if you translate the extra running yards to passing. ;D I felt the same way about the Jets game... what were the Colts and Manning freakin' thinking leaving all that time on the clock. They could have run the ball twice instead of those 2 incompletes... even if they'd only gained a couple more yards it would have been inside 48 for Vinaclutch... instead they make two stupid passes and on top of that the coach calls a time out for them when the Jets have the ball... WOW! The Colts were the last team I'd have expected that out of... *takes a deep breath* At least it only prolongs the Jets agony... I have no doubt they will be slaughtered next week. And I think I'm going to like it... no, I know I'm going to like it You know what just tops the whole thing off? Jason Taylor... I'm trying really hard NOT to hope he gets hurt. I'd almost got over it until he started running his mouth about the Dolphins coaches again this week.

He still seems to have love for Dan Marino.. But then Dan went and picked New England to take out the Jets with Taylor sitting right next to him in the broadcast booth. ;D I have nothing against the Jets, though. So I've got to pull for them over the Patriots. I've got infinity + 1 reasons to hate them. I'll be picking the Jets, but will not be surprised in the slightest if they lose. But I guarantee there won't be a blowout.

Taylor and Marino have something in common, they were both pushed out for younger talent. The thing they don't have in common is that while Dan was still playing at a Pro Bowl level and got pushed out by Jimmy Johnson, he has never said anything bad about the team. He backs them to this day. Taylor was allowed to come back after he decided to dance for a summer and then join the Redskins. When he couldn't play at a starting level he complained... now after he was let go he continues to make derogatory comments about the coaches. The worst thing is that he decided to play for our most hated rival - a team he hated for so many years and said he'd never play for... even taking shots at Jet fans. Sorry... team traitor rant over. I'll accept JT back when and if he decides to retire a Dolphin to go in the HOF as a Fin... until then he is the enemy

Haha. Even then, I probably wouldn't forgive him. I'd have a hard time forgiving even John Elway if he went and played for the Raiders...

I figured you'd understand. And I will still have a hard time forgiving him, but he gave me a lot of joy making qb's lives miserable for years... especially Tom Brady.

Oh, how sweet it was seeing Tom Brady in pissy mood throughout that game, and then stomp off the field at the end. Side note: Did you hear Jim Nants and Phil Simms praising Tom Brady's wrist on a random hand off to the running back? It was nothing at all special, just a run up the middle for about 1 yard, maybe.

It's always great to see the Pats in a bad mood. Now it's the Jets turn and I'll be happy... er.

The main reason I kinda like the Jets is because of Buddy Ryan and his kids. And Darrelle Revis seems okay.
