You guys thought that The Rock vs. John Cena might take place last night during WM27. (I wasn't sure myself.) As you can see it didn't really happen, but it will take place at WrestleMania XXVIII.

You never know with WM what they might stick in there... it would have been a lot better if they had done something. If not for the Undertaker vs HHH match that would have bombed completely... that's probably the worst WM I've ever seen and I've seen them all... multiple times.
How can you have your so called "Super Bowl" of sports entertainment and leave out most of your championships? Not even an Intercontinental match on the PPV... they made it a dark match WTF? And not one belt changed hands... pretty lame stuff.
All that said I really got to hand it to HHH... I've always thought he got things pretty much his way (married to the family and all) and never paid his dues as much as other superstars. Yeah, he's had his great matches, but he should... since he gets put in more big matches than anybody else when he's healthy. But WOW what a match he and Taker gave at WM27. To sell the Undertaker's submission and to tap at the big show... that showed something by the Game.
And congrats on the picks J!

Wish I would've seen it. I read some talk about it and a lot of people feel cheated by The Rock. Feeling that he only did this gig to advertise his new movie. Which I recall him doing quite a bit, even when I was still watching and he left for the movies.
What are your favorite Wrestlemanias? I loved Austin's heel turn (at X7? or X8?) against The Rock. I believe Undertaker had a WM match with HHH then, too, now that I think about it. The TLC Title match. WOW!

Well, not to knock any of those for sure, we all have our "those were the days" times. My times like that were the mid to late 80's and early 90's when it comes to the WWF. Summerslam 88 comes to mind as one of my favorite PPV's along with the Royal Rumble that Flair won. As far as WM goes I don't have them ranked in my head right now (but thanks to you I'll probably do it now ). WM III was arguably the best ever... there was nothing before and nothing since that has even come close to the hugeness of Hogan vs Andre... and the slam. Though the better match and one the top 10 ever was the Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage contest. WM IV was really cool with the tournament for the world belt... this one began the famous Mega Powers storyline. WM V was the culmination of the Mega Powers story but not as good IMO. WM IX was an over all weak PPV but had an awesome ending as Bret Hart lost the WWF title to Yokozuna... then Hogan came out of nowhere and challenged Yoko to a title match then beat him for the belt. This is what made me think McMahon might pull it again with the Rock this year. My two favorite Manias are: WM VI - This one had 14 matches that included Mr. Perfect's first loss (Brutus Beefcake) and the awesome showdown between the Ultimate Warrior and Hogan... the first time a match of that magnitude was between the top two fan favorites. WM X - this is probably my favorite... it had the first ladder match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) and featured Brett Hart losing to his brother Owen... then actually beating Yokozuna for the world title later in the main event. Too awesome!

I look forward to your rankings. Some of my favorite matches are the classic Undertaker vs Kane matches. Particularly the first to be lit on fire, match. Also, HBK and Bret Hart's Iron Man match. Whew!

It took me a long time to like Shawn Michaels again after that match... it was a great match though. I do like him now... but never as good as the Hitman
