I'm 2 and 6 in one of my leagues... some dummy dropped Andre Johnson though and I picked him up. I hope that is a sign... I'd like to at least make the playoffs. That is the league I was really sick on draft day and didn't make it... so I got stuck with auto-team

Awwwww lame. I probably would've just got stuck if it were on auto team.

That's pretty much what happened to me... I actually lost to somebody not even playing that started Peyton Manning and another player out for the year. That's how bad my team was. I've got it shaping up some and it's kind of fun to do. If some of these people would ever check the trade requests it would be even more fun.

I don't know how I managed to type that sentence wrong. I must've glanced up and read your final sentence as I was typing. I was going to say that I probably would've just left the league if I got stuck with auto-team. Instead, all I said was I would've got stuck with auto-team. I'm glad you could look into what I said and find something that made sense. One of my losses in our league was against an auto team, and I think he also had Peyton Manning, I could be wrong. But I think I just had too many injuries and bye weeks for my starters.

Lol... I thought you just meant you'd be stuck... Man, my players in our league just all took a dive this week. Bossert beat the shit out of me. Gore, Julio Jones and Darren Sproles had a grand total... added all together... THE THREE OF THEM... of... wait for it..... ZERO! Are you kidding me? Then the Ravens got me ONE whole point on defense. To throw salt in my wounds Fitz went nuts for the first and only time this season after I finally benched him for doing absolutely nothing all year. But hey... days like that are OK when the Dolphins win and shut up all those Suck for Luck people down there. ;D The Colts are going to get Luck... who is going to Suck... and the Colts will send Manning to Miami where he will pull his best Elway impression and go out with 2 Super Bowl wins... and no I'm just dreaming big... I'm not actually high The Colts can send Freeney and Mathis along with Manning... and we'll send them Marshall and our entire draft (since we can't seem to pick worth a damn anyway). ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

At least your team doesn't somehow manage to draft a kicker... With their first overall selection when they could've easily drafted him in the last round, probably. I'm hoping to see Miami do well, they're now on a two game winning streak! I'm beginning to wonder if the Colts are indeed sucking for Luck.

Nah, we'll just draft Ted Ginn number one... then when he finally starts to run kicks back like Hester... we give him away for nothing to the 49ers where he finds the endzone more than the entire Dolphin offense. ;D
I need to come up with a top ten twenty-five list of the Dolphins worst moves over the past decade... there is plenty of material.
As for sucking for lucking... those fans need to just pick another sport if they aren't proud enough of their team to hope they win every week. There are several other QBs I'd like to have as much or more than Luck. Robert Griffin III, Matt Barkley and Landry Jones will do nicely. The one guy that stands out the most to me this year is Justin Blackmon, the wr from Oklahoma State. He reminds me of Brandon Marshall (skill set) and he has that nasty attitude in a good way. I'm hoping the Panthers draft him if he comes out this year.

That's what they're saying about DeMaryius Thomas, too. All the skills of Brandon Marshall without the mouth and attitude. It's a shame he's so injury prone, though.
I doubt I know as much about college ball as you do, but I don't remember hearing about a player being praised so greatly before a draft as I have Andrew Luck. What's your take on him?

He has the physical tools, no doubt - Luck does. But tons of them do... what sets him apart is that he seems to be mentally ready. What bothers me about him is that I have yet to see the so-called "it" factor that was/is so evident in Cam and Tebow. Tebow doesn't have half the qb skills as Luck, but I wouldn't take Luck over Tebow and I certainly wouldn't take him over Cam... and I'm not being Panther biased... Newton is a once in a 20 year span kind of player. I don't like taking a qb number one overall... too much money and investment. It's an either or option... and the or means a cleaned house where everybody involved goes down. DeMaryius Thomas has been awesome since his Ga Tech days... as a diehard ACC fan I'm still pulling for him. On the Fantasy note... we are playing in the playoffs... you are leading me, but you left Forte in... it's so close you should update like you want it so when I beat you then you don't have any excuses ;D ;D ;D ;D

So it's just the "NFL ready" saying that's applied to Luck? Hmm. I always thought he carried some magic potion to throw on the opposing defense to allow him to make big plays or something. I didn't think Newton would be so great so fast. I thought it would take a year or two, but he bursted on the scene and is playing very well. And I can't even begin to describe how Tebow and the Broncos pull out these wins. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in football. How does the playoff bracket work in the fantasy league? We play each other, then Bossert and DBFK play each other and the winners square off for the Super Bowl? Yeah, I didn't even think to edit my players. Couldn't believe I was still in it. Left Forte in. What a goof on my part.
