What do you think? How did your team do? What team did the best... the worst?

I'm happy with my team (Fins) so far. Sure the verdict will be slow coming on the new QB - Tannehill, but we got a good DE and we picked up one of the three TE's I wanted... and he's the fastest one. I was hoping to get a WR - Stephen Hill (darn Jets again) or LaMichael James but I'm happy to get that TE - Michael Egnew. My Panthers were solid - They took Luke Kuechly from BC... I didn't know they were interested but I'm super happy he's coming to Carolina and I hope to get that autograph in August! I love what the Rams have done, collecting picks. That's my favorite strategy. Cleveland is looking good too. Trent Richardson is a beast - a mix between Ricky Williams and L.T. and Brandon Weedon should be the first QB in this draft to be really effective. He has it all and only slipped because he's 28 years old. Unfortunately I have to add the Cheatriots to the list of great drafts. They moved up several times to take four of the best defenders on the board. The Colts did alright too taking two of the three TE's I was coveting - Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen (from my Clemson Tigers). They are surrounding Luck with weapons. Luck or RG3? I would have taken Griffin III all day long. Luck has the tools but he scares me. RG3 is a faster, more accurate Cam Newton. He is a better passer than Vick and is almost as nifty... plus he has extremely high character. He will be a star. Seattle has the most shaky draft so far in my opinion. Russell Wilson is a tremedous QB prospect - he is my sleeper for biggest steal this year... but the Seahawks just signed Matt Flynn and they already have Tarvaris Jackson. How will he develop? But more of a head scratcher is why they took Bruce Irvin and all his off field issues with a top 15 pick. Strange draft there in my opinion. Someday hopefully they will move the draft away from the rude Jets fans who boo the commissioner, the players and their families and even the veterans who are honored. They boo people before they even know who they are. And I leave you asking... wth is this?

Luck or RG3? As far as rookie year goes, I'm taking RG3. But I think Luck will have the best pro career. Tough to say, really. They both seem like really good kids, too. I'm relatively happy with Denver's draft. Loved the Derek Wolfe pick. Although I wished they had taken Jerel Worthy, I'm equally happy we got Wolfe. He is HUGE and was the best pass rusher in college. Not too happy about the Osweiler pick, mainly because we got rid of Tebow, which sucked. I was happy to see you got Tannehill. When Denver was first in the mix for Peyton Manning, I was only a little excited, because I was worried we'd trade Tebow. But when rumors spread like the plague that Denver would trade up to get Tannehill if we didn't get Manning, I was all on board signing Manning. Tannehill will be very solid, though. And yeah, wow, little too close.

OH! And I absolutely love the Ronnie Hillman pick up. He's like Darren Sproles 2. I'm naturally assuming he's going to be used in a ton of screen plays. How effective will that be!! Especially if we make the play on a defensive coverage scheme.

I don't mind them taking Tannehill this year with the new rookie contracts. I would have never taken him before so high in the draft.
I can't believe Miami stole Lamar Miller at RB. I didn't even realize he was still on the board... and in round four? They had him graded round 1-2. He's a super fast little dude like LaMichael James... that made me happy.
Luck lucked up with those two awesome TE's including his own from Stanford. What bothers me about him is that Stanford had a big package running offense and hardly ever threw the ball. They had a huge offensive line and there was usually no pressure on the throws he did have to make. Yeah he's got a good arm but to me he is waaaaay too untested to go that high. I hope that he does well though... because like you said Jason - he seems to be a great kid.

I think you know a lot more about college ball than I do, so I'll take your word over mine, any day. I noticed too that Luck already got some great targets in the draft.

Lol... well I watch some college ball, but I'm no expert. I just want to see Luck take some hits and have to throw 50 times a game. I really hope he survives the first year because I believe you are right about their rookie seasons. RG3 has an unfair advantage in talent and coaching to start with.
That said don't you think it's cool that Shanahan is getting a chance to reprove himself with a new star QB and some better talent than the Skins have had? I'm personally glad he's getting a shot with somebody other than McNabb - who I thought was done before he left Philly.
Different subject - Jason have you heard that they are putting in a playoff for college football? It is supposed to be in by 2014 I think. Rumors are it will be a four team playoff, but I hope it is more. Either way I am HYPED about it! Will that get you more interested or will you feel the same?

I love Shanahan. I wish him nothing but success.... in the NFC. In all seriousness, I generally cheer for the Redskins unless they're playing the Fins or Titans. Or Denver, of course. They're not a favorite, by any means. I'll usually route for a team to win for whatever reason, and because of Shanahan, I route for the Skins a bit. Luck and Griffin have a scary amount of potential. I'm afraid that Luck is going to turn into another Manning situation, eventually. Where he consistently beats us into the ground. Wow, I didn't hear about the new playoff ruling. I don't know if that's what it will take to get me into college football. Just sitting down and taking the time to watch a few games might get me into college. But growing up, it was just never an interest like the pros, for me. Different, different subject. . What do you think about the newly added NFL rules? I know they threw in the OT rule to all regular season games, and all turnovers will be reviewed. Personally, I hated the new overtime rule, to begin with. Denver proved on the very first game with the new overtime rule just how stupid it is. If the point is to give each team a chance to get the ball in overtime. But it could still end on one play, and it did. Personally, I feel that since you have 60 minutes and 4 frickin quarters to win the game, that if you've fallen victim to the coin toss, it's your own fault. I dig the new review rules, though.
