What do you guys think about this situation?

I think he will be convicted fairly quickly... there are no signs of innocence here.


I will have to give a bit of props to Robert Kraft for cutting ties with Hernadez before he even knew about the murder charge. They lost serious money and cap space by doing it that way and all though it pains me to say it... the league should take this into account if and when Hernadez is convicted. I've never had a problem with Kraft anyway... I've always had respect for him. Bill on the other hand

I kept telling the guys I watch football games with that there is just something about Hernandez that I don't like and he seems like an arrogant ass.

It's almost like he wanted to get caught, though. Who the hell shoots a guy from in the car and leaves the shell casing? Who leaves their video surveillance on during the murder, showing you leave and come back with a gun?

Pure stupidity, and I hope he gets the book thrown at him.

He's lucky Dallas didn't draft him. He'd be on death row. ;D

Don't sell ALL 23 yo kids short, lol. I would have NEVER even contemplated that at any age, and I'm sure you don't either J... as you are in that age range now.

I'm afraid that people in general are getting stupider. Just look at the misguided outrage at the recent Florida case. Did any of those complaining even look at the evidence and try to see what really happened? Or did they just hear 'black kid dead' and go off half cocked because it is the 'in' thing to do? It could have been handled differently but the kid was FAR from innocent.

It really hit me a few years ago when guys in the draft were younger than me. Finding out all the members of Led Zeppelin were younger when they recorded the first album. Pretty mind blowing.
My point is, the dude is 23 years old, barely starting out in life, has it MADE, and just throws it all away because a buddy was talking with people he didn't like.

I agree about that case. It's clear why it was televised. Racism. Although there was no racism involved, the media likes to blow things way out of proportion. The prosecution's best chance was the race issue they were trying to pull, and that was it. Other than that, all evidence points to Martin looking for trouble.

The funniest thing about the trial is that nobody complaining about the racism ever mentions that Zimmerman is Hispanic. Lol... they won't let facts get in the way of their logic. I'm really sorry that kid is dead, it shouldn't have happened, but there is no great conspiracy there. It was just a shitty thing that took place between two people that could have made better choices that night.

I'm sure he has killed before. He's had a thuggish past, and apparently it isn't the first time he shot somebody.
I just can't get over what a moron he is.

I'll bet if it was a full hispanic dude it wouldn't have been blown out of proportion in the media. It always seems like a white vs. black thing whenever racism is involved.

The kicker on the Zimmerman thing is that Obama is only half black and yet he is jumping in on the bandwagon... again without mentioning that Zimmerman isn't white. I'm sure that really surprises you Jason... that our PODUS is leaving out facts

Racism will always be there if everyone continues to talk about it. That's the thing about the media, they really don't care how controversial a topic is if it gets them ratings and money. That's what it's all about these days.
