I was 4 years old. I had no idea what a movie was, and of course at that age, everything is new and magical and amazing.
So with that in mind, try to appreciate this:
My dad took me to an IMAX theatre, (yes, I said IMAX)...
...to see The Empire Strikes Back.
To say I was blown away only hints at my condition.
I have loved movies in general, and the old Star Wars movies in particular, ever since.

Nice. Pretty good first flick to see. Have you seen Maniac? indeed it was still is for anyone that might see it as their first movie experience and because of that movie i have been a craig t.nelson fan ever since. i hated looking under my bed for several months afterwards and i developed a weird fascination with t.v. channels that were like in the movie or all blurred up lol. good times noooooo i haven't seen maniac is coming out this year? next perhaps? i am looking so forward to see that lol naw its one of a dozen or so movies i can watch over and over again and joe spinell gives me chills his portrayal is so realistic......i could go on and on but i will leave that for another time.

Maniac is such an underrated classic. I'm very excited, but at the same time, very skeptical, of Elijah Wood as Frank Zito. Aside from Spinell's allstar performance, his intimidating appearance helped skyrocket the excellence of that movie. I fear the remake is going to fail, since I'm fairly confident your average woman could whoop his ass.

I'm all for remakes, but they're too frequent. It feels like every film is going to be remade at some point.
