Great game. Terrible throw by Luck to pretty much give the Panthers the win.

Man... the officials really want overtime. This game should be a 30 point blowout. There have been 4 obviously bad calls that have either cost Carolina a TD or given Indy one...
Stevie Wonder called in and told the NFL that he could see that the ball was sitting on the ground on that pass that should have been overturned... lol. I saw two articles this morning blasting the refs for the bad calls and how they ruined that game. I disagree, the refs saved the game, because everyone would have cut it off if they had called it fairly.

Yep. Refs are getting NBA-esque. Makes football a lot less fun to watch. Replacement refs weren't even this bad. Except when Russell Wilson threw that game winning interception.
Medialogic 101.

I love what Manning said when asked if this was saying "I told you so" to the critics.
"I don't look at this as an 'I told you so' moment. I don't really listen to what you say in the first place."
Winning!

Manning is one of a kind...
And I meant to commend you on your Brady analytic diagrams - they are spot on, he's not as good as he used to be and never was as good as they thought he was.
In other news... I'm starting to hear Megatron to Carolina rumors... please stop, don't tease me unless it actually happens. I'm telling you the Panthers are 7-0 with NO WIDEOUTS! Calvin Johnson would make them immediate NFC champ favorites if they are not already. Another rumor is Anquan Boldin... good but not as good as Megatron.
Oh, and congrats on getting Vernon Davis... he has been one of my favorites since he played in the ACC at Maryland. He has long been wasted in SF... he is better than Julius Thomas by a long shot and in my opinion he was a better TE than Gronk (and I can't help but like Gronk I wish he was on my team Brady doesn't deserve him) in his prime. I hope Davis is very close to his prime again in Denver.

I could never properly rank Brady on a top all-time list. He'd already be so low because the offensive system he's in is built like a ferrari, but he's been a part of a franchise who are all proven cheaters. The proof is in the pudding. We already know a good deal of what went on, and now former Patriot employees are coming out and spilling the beans... During games, Ernie Adams sat in the coaches' box, with binoculars and notes of decoded signals, wearing a headset with a direct audio line to Belichick. Whenever Adams saw an opposing coach's signal he recognized, he'd say something like, "Watch for the Two Deep Blitz," and either that information was relayed to Brady or a play designed specifically to exploit the defense was called. A former Patriots employee who was directly involved in the taping system says "it helped our offense a lot," especially in divisional games in which there was a short amount of time between the first and second matchups, making it harder for opposing coaches to change signalsManning's incredible situational awareness and ability to recognize defensive formations allows him to relay to the line to "Watch the two deep blitz". Meanwhile in New England, Brady is the puppet on strings while Mr. Spyman relays the play to Belicheat who tells Brady to "Watch the two deep blitz". They are not comparable, and I didn't realize how hilariously uneducated the average fan is until I saw people saying Brady is better, or even in the same league as Manning.

Megatron to Carolina will not happen. At least not this year. The deadline has passed, so you'll have to wait until the offseason to get excited again. I have little doubt that they'll be looking to get a great WR2 to go with Benjamin when he comes back next year. I noticed that Elway was working on getting Joe Thomas to Denver, which would have been incredible for us. I heard Elway offered a first rounder for Thomas, but Cleveland wanted Shaq Barrett to go along with it. I'm betting the only reason they wanted Barrett was because he tore up their line when he replaced Ware. Dude has all-star potential, and it would've been too bitter-sweet to see Barrett go in that deal. He has a bright future with us. As far as Vernon Davis, I know the guy is 31, but he is an athletic phenomenon and will definitely be able to produce. You don't need to be very speedy in that position, so he should do great things. Love Owen Daniels, he is fantastic, but we're talking about a guy mentioned near the all-time greats here. I do expect him and Virgil Green to be utilized, but VD will clearly be the primary.

LMAO at myself... I realized later that day that I had the days mixed up on the trade deadline. Detroit was in too much chaos to do any moves anyway.
I wish that Denver could have gotten Joe Thomas... he's the real deal and I might have pulled that trigger anyway... but they DEFINITELY know more than me. Elway is a cold, calculating evil genius and I'm jealous that you guys have him running your team lol.
