Roberto Aguayo has been cut by the Buccaneers. I don't care what a kicker looks like in college, I'm not pursuing one in a draft. If you've got like 11 picks and there's a highly touted kicker and he's available in the 6th or 7th... MAYBE. And I'd only pick him if I were friends with his Dad or something. Hey y'all... I'm in for the prediction contest if we are doing it. I'm pretty much boycotting the NFL this year otherwise. No fantasy or anything... the flag and banner stuff has just made me utterly sick. What ignorance... they don't even realize what they are disrespecting... lol I refuse to even get started.
But, I'll be glad to do the picks here, I always enjoy it.
I had some unbelievable issues in the last year and I've kinda just disconnected from the internet completely. I shoulda kept in touch here, sorry about that.
Oh, and I'll take those blasted Cheatriots on Thursday if we are doing it.

Sweet! I will put up Week 1. Good to see you back. And I feel the same way about it. Luckily, most fans are in agreement with us. Maybe .001% are boycotting the league, though.  At least they brought Hank back for the Monday Night theme. Glad Denver is going to be there in his return. Hope all is well. |

All is well now for the most part. My/our lives are at a massive crossroads, though. Had multiple things happen that I wouldn't wish on anybody. My little family of three is still together and has a chance at a fresh start... so I'm grateful for that. I hope we get a chance to talk sometime again... no way to explain even a tenth of it all here.
Didn't here about Hank, that's awesome!
I'm not doing an official boycott, just tired of letting those ungrateful idiots get to me by trying to bring awareness to causes I believe in by alienating the very group of people who can, will and want to help.
Bad thing is that David really wants to go to the MNF game between Mia and Car in Charlotte. Haven't decided on that yet.

PM box is always open, you know it. I'm interested to see how the NFL handles September 11th on Monday Night. If any player is sitting for that day (especially that day), I will disown them. Elway is a staunch Conservative and huge supporter of the U.S. and its military. If he has any say on what will be done, I can guarantee freedom will ring throughout the city of Denver. |

That's what got me last year... the Dolphins players sitting during the 911 memorial anthem. That was one of the classless acts I've ever seen an athlete commit. I know a few other teams did it too, but my team... that hurt.
On another note I'm watching the local weather and they are calling for Irma to (possibly) hit us directly on Monday... as still a Cat one hurricane! It would be the 1st one to come here as a hurricane since Ivan in 2004 when Marii was 5 months pregnant with David.

Rooting for a tie. While I hate N.E. more, the AFC West is a three-way coin flip for the division. Plus, it was fun to see K.C. get their jimmies rustled so badly when Jamaal Charles went to Denver then put more knife in the wound by saying he always wanted to be a Bronco.  K.C. fans have a pretty unreal hatred for Denver. They've pretty much always been the team I've disliked the least in the West. |
