Amen to that... you know Eli will always be an honorary member of the 72 Dolphins.

Wow, Denver Post is calling for Elway to be fired... Are you kidding me? Send his ass to Miami... We'll take 2 SB appearances, a World championship and several nice playoff runs. We'll trade for Nick Saban, no playoff wins and 2 15 loss years (this year as a sure bet). Come on man!
J get your people in line, lol.

No doubt changes need to be made, particularly on the offense. But who are we going to replace him with? Firing someone does absolutely nothing unless you have someone potentially better ready to take over. "Fire the guy in charge of everything! Then all our problems will be solved!"... ... ... "wat??" Elway is an absolute master of the game as far as free agency goes. He brought in Peyton in 2012 and built arguably the greatest offense the NFL had ever seen in 2013. When they flubbed the Super Bowl, he transformed the team into one of the greatest defenses the NFL had ever seen, in just a two year span. How that is ignored is beyond me. That was the most impressive GM run I've ever seen as a football fan. Our offensive line has been awful the last 3-4 years, and I mean awful. When Siemian was the QB, it was one of the worst offensive lines I've ever seen in all my years of watching football. But the same smart people who blame Elway for the current slump are the same smart people who said it was all Siemian's fault and never once notice the line blowup throughout his entire tenure as a Bronco. Paxton Lynch was supposed to fix our problem. Keenum was supposed to fix our problem, Flacco was supposed to fix our problem. Interesting that the only winning QB we've had since Peyton has been Trevor Siemian. The same people who loved the moves Elway made during the offseason are the same people calling for his job when it doesn't pan out on the field. Denver has always been one or two small adjustments away from success. You can't predict the future. We've put stock in coaches and players that haven't worked out. Fangio I think will be a great addition to our defense, but we need o-line help and Munchak hasn't fixed it either. We need players who won't bust and guys like Garrett Bolles just need to go ASAP. But we've also got a couple of young studs in Phillip Lindsay and Courtland Sutton. Emmanuel Sanders is always excellent and Noah Fant could be a star tight end. A lot of pieces are in place, we're just not quite there yet. I want to see Elway continue to build through free agency and hopefully have more success in the draft. Also, nobody wants to talk about the referees intentionally robbing the Broncos blind out of two wins when we had Chicago and Jacksonville down for the count. We should be 4-3, and K.C. is just too good right now.

Yeah, everyone has ebbs and flows, hits and misses. Nobody (unless you cheat) has ups every year. Elway has missed some... how in the blue milk he hired Miami's worst D-coordinator ever as HC I am lost on. But, like you said he did a masterful job on the ups and if they let him do his thing he'll have them crushin' again. He's got that gunslinger mentality.

Yeah, that sucks. Dolphins are losing some guys I hate to see go too. Minkah Fitzpatrick has been like a 1 man 4 game difference between Miami and Pittsburgh. But those 2 1st round picks mmmm good.

Congrats on the win yesterday. I knew when making the pics at least someone orange would have to win.
Miami can celebrate their first win along with the cheatriots first loss. And if the Jets lose next week they can pretty much eliminate the Giants from the tankoffs.
Now the 72 dolphins are just one team away from that yearly celebration when the population of perfectville remains at one.

Yeah, I'm always worried about the Patriots going 19-0 because every year they are gifted with such an easy schedule. It's crazy. Every NFC division they play just happens to be the weakest division that year, not to mention how terrible every team in their own division has been for the last 15 years.
You now have Aqib Talib. I was surprised to see him traded from the Rams, considering they are a playoff-bound team. Teams typically stick with the veterans for the playoff run and Talib is still a stud out there. I always thought of him as the little brother you always root for despite him getting in trouble a lot. lol. He made a couple of dirty hits with the Broncos, but I will always love the altercation with Crabtree. So hilarious.
Shouldn't start Ryan Fitzpatrick if the plan is to tank all year. He'll throw in some Fitzmagic and you guys might go 6-10. lol.

Prophetic! Lol... They aren't good at tanking.
I'm gonna try to get back into the Dolphins next season. All the kneelers I know of are gone. I'd like to see them stack draft picks this year and get Trevor Lawrence next year... but probably no chance of that. They are loaded with money and picks though... Could be fun.
How about Atwater!!! Glad to see that, he might be the last of the big hitters to go in with all the rule changes.

Yeah, I think no matter who ends up with the number one pick after next season, they'll take Lawrence. I don't think any team would be willing to trade whatever is asked of the team in the number one slot. You're gonna have to root for monumental failure to have a shot at Lawrence. Lol. Don't start Fitzpatrick! And Atwater has been deserving of the hall of fame from the year he became eligible. Ed Reed says he's the hardest hitting safety of all time, and I agree, although I'm biased. lol.
