David wrecked his dirtbike and broke both of his arms. We were all at the hospital a few days.
He has already had surgery (pins and plates and rods) on both. They straightened and held them from the inside so he wouldn't need casts... so he could eat and wipe himself (thank God).
He is ok... but has a long recovery. Say some prayers for us.

Ahhh. Noo. Hopefully he is in good spirits. Before he knows it he'll be wiping normal again and have a great story to tell.  Not sure if I've told this story or not, but a few years back I bought my first Harley. Five days into riding, someone did a double lane change and made me crash into the back of a flatbed trailer someone was towing in their pickup. I landed inside it. Came out with some wicked road rash and bruises, nothing too serious... that is... until I got home and noticed my testicle was swollen halfway down to my knee cap. Went to the hospital and got an ultrasound to make sure it was getting blood flow. Which it was. Luckily. Otherwise I'd need to have surgery. Scary at the time, but in the end it became just another cool life story to tell. Hopefully David realizes this and isn't too down in the dumps about it.
