So have you seen any good movies lately? I ashamed to say I have not watched much, but have been considering going to see Abe Lincoln Vamp Hunter. Have you seen it?

Haven't seen that one. I saw Cabin in the Woods but had mixed feelings about it. I saw Insidious about 7 or 8 times in the theater. It was THAT good, in my opinion. That's My Boy had me laughing from beginning to end.  |

You know I wanted to see that movie when it first came out and never got the time to do it. You have convinced me to watch it. I'll see if it's on Demand tonight. Then again if it's that scary maybe I'll wait until tomorrow morning. :-)

It was a major surprise, to me. I decided to give it a shot, but wasn't expecting anything different than your typical, mediocre horror of the 2000s. This one is actually among the best I have ever seen. But now I'm over-selling it. |

What I find most interesting about the reviews is that for the people that loved the movie, they either found the creepy old lady to be the best thing about the film, or the red demon.

I liked the first 2/3 the best... the realness of it was original and it drew me in. As it got a little crazier toward the end it lost a little steam for me... but the the end was good.

I'm excited for Sinister. I was automatically drawn to it when the trailer said it was from the makers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious. Almost didn't even need to see the trailer. |
