Ever since DVD's came out, I was never too interested. I was into the VHS thing and wasn't ready for the new technology America had spawned. Now, I love DVD's. I have only been into it for a little while, though, and only have 31 DVD's. But my plan is, to save up about $500-$1,000 and buy every movie Ive ever wanted, or have wanted to see. Maybe $500 isnt enough to buy all the ones I wanted, but Deep Discount DVD had some great movies for a definitely reasonible price. Friday the 13th is only $9.36 with free shipping!! Brand new and unused might I add. Thats where I got all my Friday the 13th's. Nightmare on Elm Street is only $7.20! So, this is where I'll be officially starting my new DVD collection. Oh yes.

That was my plan about 4 years ago. In Sept of 2001 I bought a DVD player and got my first two DVDs. Halloween Extended Edition and Exorcist. Well as that plan went on I made some great buy's and some total wastes that I will never watch again, even though I liked them. During this plan I bought 278 DVD's
So now my new plan since October of 2003 was getting a DVD burner and renting and burning DVD's as well as borrowing them from friends and burning them. So now after plan B and still buying seasonal DVD's or special ones like FvsJ and such I have 634 DVD's
These days I just look for a few things and that's it. I mostly burn movies for my g/f now.

I don't have any problem burning movies. I don't know why but I've always preferred VHS over DVD. DVD's are definitely cool for special features though. I'm not for sure how many movies I have but I know it's a lot. When I get done watching them I just put them in containers.

Hahahaha I can see you have never done it before huh...? LOL Trust me dude after 2 weeks and getting all you can you don't even think of them as burned... I have um all in a zip case with sheets that I slip um into. It hold about 200 CD's each zip case. I just flip threw pop it in and enjoy! And they are'nt stolen.... I either paid in rental or my friend paid to buy them and I pay for the blank DVD thank you very much! You shall be smitten for that remark!

no dude, I know they're not stolen. LOL. My dad bought a $500 DVD Burner. I just feel like, I dont own them. Im becoming a collector you could say. And if you were a collector, you wouldn't want a burned copy would you? I've burned CD's all the time and could care less about buying them. Some songs I want are from a crappy band and whats the point in buying a $25 CD when there's only 1 song that you like from it? See what I'm saying? I know what you mean. I just dont like the feeling of having a burned movie. Its just me I guess. ?

Yeah, but I just cant own a Friday the 13th without it being the original copy. Same thing with the Box Set. I wouldnt want a burned box set. lol. I'd like the original casing and original disc. Thats perfect. Thats what i want.
