Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, is my most favorite film. The classic battle with Grandma, the "I'll swallow your soul!", followed by "swallow this" and a shotgun to the face doesn't get any better for me.

I remember watching Braindead (Dead Alive) and noticed the mother zombie toward the end of the film was very similar to the mother zombie in Evil Dead II. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the makers of Braindead were inspired by The Evil Dead

Part 1 all the way. Horror-comedy has a time and a place but the straight stuff usually wins for me; ED1 was a brutal nightmare-on-film, the others were just campy IMO |

I like Evil Dead 2 .This film followed by the last episode. Dawn finally arrived, Ash is the only survivor. But for various reasons, he did not have enough time to leave, so that he would have to again in a small room over a night of terror. This time, accompanied by his professor's daughter, a mechanic and his girlfriend. As night fell, Ash's girlfriend died, his arm (stage one after another on centralized chainsaw and cut down), and flying eyeball. Another bloody night of terror began.Very nice, very frightening, I like.
