How Horror Movie Fan Club got started.
I was browsing the net searching for Freddy vs Jason info to read about when I came across this board. At the time it was a different place and was called Freddy vs Jason Plus. I noticed you could actually chat online! No, I never knew what a message board was. So I clicked this button called register and became an instant active member. Best computer time of my life there. Well, it ended up getting deleted, and it sent us to the ProBoards main page. I registered there and the bastards kept saying "wait for the mods to help you, it probably violated a tos" I dont think the mods ever replied and I got banned about 4 times for talking shit to the PB members. (Which I still do those nerdy bastards.) And in between that time I lost all contact with my new buddies I made online. So I went to click register and talk more shit, but I ended up creating my message board! I thought it was so cool. I tried to make it a horror board so hopefully one of my Freddy Vs Jason Plus buddies would find it. Well, about 2 weeks later on August 19th 2004, (God I'm good with dates) I found 'em. They were still know as Freddy vs Jason Plus, and I was active for about 2 months, then the all high and mighty staff decided to delete the board again. Luckily Jeff (ISU) gave me the link through a topic on my board. And thats how my board got started.
