Who here has started their Christmas shopping? Who here has spent the last two days shopping, fighting other customers and thinking they're getting a hella bunch of deals on items? To think, I did some shopping today. Got some good deals. But, yet if ya really think about it......they'll be great sales and deals all the way up to Christmas. Went to two major stores and couldn't believe how packed it was. Not to mention how tired the employees were. But, heck...had fun. Anyone here planning to do their shopping at the last minute? Just curious is all.  |

I've never got up at five in the morning to go the day after Thanksgiving Christmas shopping. I thought I'd try something different this year by doing some online shopping at five in the morning at wal-mart.com It was a nightmare!! They put the site in maintenance mode a couple of times and it was so slow you couldn't even use the checkout. I was wanting a portable DVD Player and Case but those sold out quickly so I wasn't able to get them. I did luck out by getting a couple of other things I wanted though. I'll keep on checking when it comes to the DVD player cause like you said there will be plenty of sales going on.

Yep, waiting for a store card to come in the mail so, I can do some more shopping. I figure "what the hell", this year. I've bought a thing or two on line and wasn't happy and then, ended up shipping it back for alot of postage. Grrr! Can't wait 'till it slows down a bit. I wonder what kind of ads will be in the Sunday paper?  |

I enjoy buying online. I usually only look in the paper we get on Saturday's for the Wal-Greens and K-Mart ads. We haven't got the paper in three weeks though so I don't know what the deal is with that.

Wow! You get your ads on Saturday? Here in Yakima, we get our weekend ads on Sunday. A whole sleu of them.
