Dispute in Dish Network and CBS 29

I don't believe it. For those who have Dish Network and watch countless shows on CBS channel 29, found out last night that Dish won't cover 29 after last night. Why? Due to 29 wanted to increase their rate for a new contract of 82%. Because they know they have the best shows. Well, Dish would have to increase the viewer customer's rates. Big deal! Some of us pay too much for crappy Dish programming as it is! What's a few more dollars added to our bill?!!! Now all the shows we watch on 29 are gone unless we change our cable outfit. What really pisses me off is none of us knew about this until last night. I didn't feel like calling these companies to tell 'em what I thought, so I e-mailed their general managers. Anyone else having Dish Network, should do the same. Also, if you watch CBS 29, call that channel and dispute your concerns of what's happening. I could see a 50% increase being asked but 82%?!! Byches please!

In our channle 29, here in Thunder Bay we have music channle...though that doesn't say much considering we live in different areas. But it sucks though that you'll not going to watch your tv shows there Jas.I hope your angry e-mail brings up thier attention.Gladly SHAW cable is great here.....is there SHAW over there?

My e-mail was sent back and we called our local CBS station called KIMA 29 and the manager isn't answering his phone. Won't even go to voice mail. I bet he's getting alot of WTF's right now.
