Vocalists are my favorite aspect of music I guess. Not that you have to put them on your list or anything, but I have to mention my top few... props to you for putting Elvis on there - I don't hear him getting the credit he deserves as one of the top vocalists of all time. And Freddie Mercury is just the sh#t - he is in my top five as is Roy Orbison.
Roland Orzabal - My favorite of all and is the reason that Tears for Fears is my favorite band - I've never heard anyone with a more beautiful voice that has such a tremendous range. He can he hit pretty much every note in that range and still hold the quality that makes him unique like an instrument.
Andy Bell - Effortless singer of Erasure
Prince - Not one of my favorites to listen to, but is an amazing singer
Roy Orbison - One of a kind
George Michael - yeah he's a freak but not many can hit the notes he can, if he wasn't classified as bubble gum pop he'd be up there on more lists.
Johnny Cash - Not ever will he be accused of having a pretty voice, but it is one of the most unique, transfixing sounds of all time.
Johnny Mathis - Just a human instrument
Brian Wilson - Of the Beach Boys - a musical genius

Freddie is definitely in my top 5! I shouldn't reveal who I pick everytime, but it will be him. Haha.
My top list.
4) Robert Plant 3) Ian Gillan 2) Steve Perry 1) Freddie Mercury
Ian and Steve are practically tied. It's too difficult to rate one above the other.
Have you seen Freddie Mercury perofrm Barcelona with Montserrat Caballe? Jeez!!! Not only is he an amazing rock singer, but his vocals in opera is just as amazing! I recommend Youtubing that one!
