Hope you're right, dude. I enjoyed Rob Zombie's Halloween.... As a movie.. But not as a remake of the 1978 classic.

liked the 78 version i agree with you it was a classic and i think it has influenced and changed horror movies for the last 30 years, and its one of those movies that i think people will still b talking about in another 30 years. But as a remake /retelling i have enjoyed the halloween remake its my favorite remake, maybe not the best remake just my favorite. That maybe because i like rob zombie

I do like Rob Zombie's films quite a bit. But I think his style shouldn't have had anything to do with Halloween.
Psycho was the film that influenced John Carpenter, actually. Which I believe is one of the greatest horror films of all time! Psycho baby!!

Here's something fun. Carpenter was a huge fan of Hitchcock. He named two of his characters in Halloween after two of Hitchcock's characters. Sam Loomis was originally Marion Crane's lover in Psycho. Tom Doyle was a friend of L.B. Jefferies in Rear Window.

I saw the previews on the t.v. the other night on this Halloween 2. So Rob Zombie's gone done screwed up another Halloween classic, huh? I'm sorry but, I think he's movies stink and can't stand him nor his entire family. I don't even think his wife is a good actress nor his kids. What's next? Halloween 3...Rob Zombie style again? He needs to quit messing with the classics. Grrrrrrrr!!!
