I have been a fan of horror movies for as long as i can remember here are some movies i'd recomend.with a brief summary of them.
1.Alien(1979)-
Perfection
2.Altered States(1980)-
Paddy Chayfsky.Horror movie.rent it.
3.An American Werewolf(1981) in London-
Funny.Scary.Sexy.Hairy.
4.An American Wererwolf in Paris(1995?)-
Julie Delpy. smokin.hotttt.
5.The Amityville Horror(1979)
Bad things happen in house. Family buys house. Bad Things happen to family
6.The Birds(1963)
Tippi Hedren.Alfred Hitchcock. Rent it.
7.Black Christmas(1974)-
The best of the "sorority slashers". Olivia Hussy slumming it between Franco Zeffirelli epics, and Margo Kidder before Superman sucked all the sex out of her.
8.The Blair Witch Project(1999)-
The damn why didnt I think of that first horror film.
9.Bride Of Chucky(1998)-
A campy movie series at its campy best
10.The Burning(1981)-
A superior summer camp slasher.
11.Carrie(1976)-
If you haven't seen this masterpiece yet, pelt yourself with tampons and go to your prayer closet.
12. Childern of the Corn(1984)-
Original and creepy, some dated special effects. Has the spookieskt opening music ever.
13. Christine(1983) -
The undesputed champ of the evil car genre
14.CreepShow(1982)-
Stephen King as a hillbilly. Ed Harris disco dancing. E.G Marshal barfing cockroaches. What more do you want?
15.Dawn Of The Dead(1978)-
George A. Ramero skewers American consumerism and several chacters in this sort of sequal to Night of the Living Dead.
16. DEad Alive(A.K.A. Brain DEAd) (1992)
The last of Peter Jakson's low budget gore fests.
17. The Evil Dead(1981)-
hi i'm samramini and this is my friend Bruce campbel. Here's a classic horror film. Enjoy.
18.The Exercist(1973)
The power of Christ compels you to watch this movie at least once a year.
19.Final Destination(2000)
Smarter then the avg slasher flick.
20. The Fly(1986)
Dark potrayal of a man falling apart.
21.The Fog(1980)
A good old fashioned ghost story.
22.Friday The 13th (1980)
Story of a young boy that was neglected just a little, by some over zelous and over sexed camp counlers.
23.Halloween(1978)
THe movie that launched the careers of John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis.
24. The Hills have eyes(1977)
Redneck imbread hillbillys attack a family stranded in the middle of nowhere.
25. The Hitcher(1986)
Whatever you do never pick up Rutger hauer
26. Hostel (2005)
The first 1/2 is a porno.
The second 1/2 is a snuff film. Forsome reason i cant stop watching it.
27. House of a 1000 corpses(2003)
A nice Rob Zombie childrens movie

THe final installment of the satanic triligy. that began with rosemary's baby and the exercist.
37. The others (2001)
A haunted house movie
38.Pet Sematay (1989)
This movie crosses that sacred line, turns around, pisses on that line, and goes on its merry way.
39 Phantasm(1979)
The story of a tall manand his balls
40. Poltergeist(1982)
Dated PG fun
41. Psycho (1960)
the first and best slaher movie
42. Return of The Living Dead (1985)
A send up of the Ramero Zombie movies.
43. The Ring (2002)The most terrifying opening sequence since Pee Wee's Big Adventure
44. Rosmary's Baby (1968)
Any movie that can make scrabble scarry is a master piece
45. Saw(2004)
A new take on the gamesman slasher flick
46Scanners(1981)
A nice head shot in this movie

WEs Craven. Neve Campbell what more do you want?

I went to see this film by myself on a cold and rainy day. I haven't smiled since.
49. The Shining(1980)
REdrum. Redrum. all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.
50.The Silence of the lambs(1991)
When i first heard the title of this movie i thought it was what happened when my uncle earl went out to the barn.
51.Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)
A christmas eve tradition at my house
52.The sixth sence(1999)
Hi I'm M. Night Shymalan, Trust me you'll learn how to pronounce it.
53.Sleepaway Camp(1983)
Most.
Insane.
Ending.
Ever.
54.Slumber Party Massacure(1982)
take Some busty teenage girls.
One escaped mental patient.
The romantic hit of the summer.
55The StepfaTHER(1987)
A vastly under rated movie
56. The Texas Chainsaw Massacure (1974)
If you have never seen this movie than you are a terrorist.

not all zombies anr slow and clumsy
