I can't believe what I've been seeing on the news lately about those terrible fires in Southern California! OMG! I hope any one who's from those areas are alright.

I'm from right around there. On Thursday there was a pretty thick cloud of smoke from the fires. At night you can see the flames up around the mountains. It's becoming less smoky around, though.

So you and your family didn't have to evacuate or was damaged by the fires? Glad to hear you're alright.

I think a relative lived around there and had to evacuate. Not sure of the whole situation though.
