It's been at least 25 years since I've seen the original Halloween and I just picked it up on blu-ray for 8 bucks... yippee. Now, since I remember hardly nothing about the film I get to watch it again... like it was the first time.
How long has it been since you've seen this classic?

It's been about 2 weeks for me.  Wow... I can't believe it's been so long since you've seen it! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I appreciate the film more and more every time I watch it. |

I just watched it a couple nights ago. It didn't age as well for me. I kinda gotta go with Brew here. The three girls acting abilities took some of the enjoyment out of it for me, but it is still a great horror flick especially being an independent film.

I know what you mean. That's really the only thing I dislike about the movie. Curtis wasn't TOO bad. But her friends sure as hell couldn't act.
Halloween II had a better supporting cast. A very great sequel.

That's good to know, because I'm pretty sure I've never seen the second one and was thinking of picking it up on DVD. How is the remake? Is it worth watching?

Horrid remake. I can't stand what Rob Zombie turned it iinto. But that's really just me. It's a love or hate remake, really. Friday the 13th remake was awesome, though.  |
