2) A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
3) A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge
4) A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child
5) A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
6) Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare
I don't like to count New Nightmare as a part of the series, because it just isn't to me. The story takes away everything that happened in the entire series. As a film, it's second behind A Nightmare On Elm Street. But as a sequel, it's at the bottom.

my first freddy flick i saw was wes cravens nightmare..i think it was like the last freddy movie made before freddy vs jason and i loved it. so i got up and rented the other nightmare on elm streets..these movies inspired me to see other horror movies. but my list would go as is
1. nightmare on elm street
2.freddys dead
3.new nightmare
4. dream warriors
5.dream street
6.freddys revengs
7. dream child
that was the order i saw them in lol.. i wasnt very wise at the time
