Not only is it the best scary film I saw this year, it is one of the best ever to me... Paranormal Activity.

I voted Paranormal Activity and Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th was so much better than I expected. Halloween (2007) caught me so off-guard that I didn't want Friday the 13th to be half as horrible as Halloween was. But it was fantastic. Paranormal Activity Spoiler I LOVED this movie. I refused to read the reviews or watch the trailer. All I knew going into the theater was that this was considered to be one of the most terrifying films along-side The Exorcist. They hit the nail on the coffin. Definitely number 2 or 3 in my list of most terrifying films. They've already announced plans for a sequel. I'm not too excited about it. No film as terrifying as this has lived up to the terror as the original. I just hope it's not a 'Paranormal Activity 2: Micah's Rise From the Grave' style movie. Though that would make for excellent 80s cheese.

I love Zombies and Zombieland was awesome. Paranormal Activity was scary. I watch a lot of horror movies and I don't get scared, but I have to admitt I had to sleep with the light on after it.
