Horror's Greatest Franchises

Let's discuss some of horror's greatest franchises. What are some of your favorites? Mine include, Friday the 13th, Evil Dead, Sleepaway Camp, Phantasm, Wishmaster, Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween.

I've never gotten as much enjoyment out of watching a complete horror series than I have when watching the Friday the 13th series. It had it's horrible movies (actually, movie; Jason X ). But overall, the best horror franchise ever, in my opinion. Evil Dead, Phantasm and Sleepaway Camp all come in pretty close, for me.

What are some of your favorite horror franchises?

Saw all the way.

I'm liking the fact that they're making so many sequels. It's reminiscent of all the large franchises of the 70s and 80s.

I enjoyed Saw 3D and I was glad they ended it but it still has so many questions.

[Jason]

I plan on going on a movie rampage sometime and completing my Saw collection. I've got the first two on DVD. I'll probably get the rest in the next month or so. I'm going to be watching a ton of horror films soon.
