I enjoyed the Dark Plot to this movie and how it had no real ending and was just like left ready for the story to continue. It really connected the three orginal movies to the three new movies. The only part i did not like was some of the acting between Anakin and Padme it seemed a bit light and made light of the situation at times with the tone of voice used but that is the only part of the movie i did not like.

This movie was action packed and wonderful so I'll give it a ten. I'd like to have the DVD for all those extra hours of bonus material.

I was at the same time elated and disappointed in ROTS. It was a great movie that united the prequels with the originals in a spectacular way. Seeing Palpatine in battle with Mace Windu and Yoda was a dream come true. General Grievous was amazing and the tone of the whole epic conclusion was spot on.
The disappointment was that it was not as good as it could have been. Boba Fett should have at least been there to witness the fate of Windu. The turn of Anakin into Vader felt rushed and almost botched... and that's a big deal since it's kinda the point of all three prequels. The acting was spotty and I just plain don't like the fact that Vader killed those younglings.
Overall, I reluctantly give ROTS a 9. The Phantom Menace is still my favorite to watch of the prequels, but it doesn't feel complete until after you've seen the third one. ROTS is the glue that binds the entire saga together and makes TPM a better film.

The local news lady ruined the ending for me when it first came out. She actually blurted out the fate of Vader and the outcome of the film. I haven't seen it yet, and that could be why. Once I'm done with my horror rampage, I'll probably watch all the Star Wars movies. I've only seen Episode IV and I. And I saw Episode I in theaters.

I'm guilty of such spoilers too. I just never stop to think that people haven't seen the originals already. And if you've seen those and the first two prequels then you'd already know everything about ROTS except the minor details. That's really what bothered me most about the new films... I hate prequels, because I want something we don't already know about. I'm such a Star Wars geek that I've got most of the books, all of the movies and cartoons, many of the comics/graphic novels and zillions of the toys. People like me just assume that everyone else knows it all too. In my defense though, I will bring forth air tight evidence that Lucas and the marketers of the prequels were wrongly assuming the same stuff. Here is an official Episode One poster... look closely at Anakin's shadow.

Evidently Lucas loves to stir Or is just totally oblivious to popular opinion.
