I've yet to see the entire series. If I remember correctly, I only got as far as the 3rd or 4th, and they were pretty enjoyable. I wouldn't consider them among the best horror movies by a long shot, though.

I haven't seen them since I was a kid, but I do remember watching all of them and they were all pretty good except for the last one.

I would agree that the Hellraiser films are not the best series out there. But, I will also say there is no other horror series out there like this particular one.

A lot of people say the same thing about A Nightmare on Elm Street, but that there actually shouldn't have even been a sequel. I know that was Craven's idea. I believe he stated that he refuses to even watch the series. |
