Plot Outline:A nurse, a policeman, a young married couple, a salesman, and other survivors of a worldwide plague that is producing aggressive, flesh-eating zombies, take refuge in a mega Midwestern shopping mall.

This is a good example of my degree of difficulty theory when it comes to rating movies. Much like Olympic diving or gymnastics sometimes the story sets a cap on the maximum score I'm going to give.

Dawn of the Dead nails it's dive... it is a simple story with an obviously simple special effects budget. 8 was as high as it could get, and it got all 8 points. Brilliant directing and camera work combined with solid acting and effects made this a flick I'll watch again sometime.
