Johnny Depp gives one of my favorite acting performances of all time in this movie. Captain Jack Sparrow became my new hero as soon as he stepped off the sinking ship onto that dock like Grace Kelly on an escalator. I'll give it a 9 and a half.

I've only seen this movie in French. We watched it in French class my sophomore year in high school. Would have to see it again in a language I'm more fluent in. ;D
