Great concept for a horror movie. The film is gritty and tense and is still the scariest of the series. However, Freddy is what makes them all worth watching and without him I probably wouldn't even call this an average movie - 7.

One of my favorite horror movies ever. Definite top 20. One of the most original films I've ever seen.
