I doubt it will beat 2001 anyway... but I still want to see it because I've always heard people talk about it... the same reason I just picked up Casablanca too.  |

2001 is a movie I need to see too, dangit. My favorite is probably Dr. Strangelove, so far. Might go to The Shining. I'd have to see them, again.
Casablanca is pretty fast paced. I still catch things I never noticed after watching it again. It's a complete package movie. Humor, action, suspense, drama, romance. And Rick Blaine is one of the most badass movie characters ever!! You picked up a gem.

Marii has seen it. She is much more of an old movie person than me, but she usually likes the comedies and musicals. She said Casablanca was OK but she didn't want to watch it with me. She called it a chick flick. ;D That's why I love her.

Chick flick!! BOOO!!!!!!  Bogart carried it, in my opinion. Also, some of the best acting I've ever seen, too. Great film. Hope you don't think the same! |

She means chick flick in the sense that only chicks want to watch it... like the ones you take your chick to see but don't really want to... I'm thinking I won't feel the same way, but I've still not watched it.

I didn't enjoy it so much on my first viewing. But the second time I watched it, it grew on me. And every time I watch it, I enjoy it more and more and get a better understanding of it.
