Rogue is one of those pleasant little surprises that pops up every once in a while just when you least expect it. I'm always a sucker for creature features so I gave it a shot not expecting more than a few laughs killing a couple hours.
Rogue is head and shoulders (several heads and severed shoulders) above it's more widely publicized counterpart - Primeval... and much more of a true horror flick than Lake Placid. It's one of those films that has you trying to help the people breathe under water and leaning with them towards the safety rope... tense. I'll give it an 8.
