Sean Penn and Christopher Walken are intense in this movie. A great script combined with Madonna's haunting Live to Tell as a musical backdrop give the film a gritty and realistic feel - not unlike A River Runs Through It and Stand By Me. It was one of my favorite dramas growing up... I'll give it an 8.
