Gritty, touching and sometimes pretty weird... The Professional is a classic! Jean Reno and Natalie Portman are amazing but Gary Oldman is at his best also. This is the film that made me really take notice of Oldman. I'll give it an 8.75

Try to get a copy that is Leon: The Professional as they released a watered down version at first in America called The Professional. It's not bad it just has parts cut out. The original international title was just Leon.

Well, that's all we had here for quite a few years. Then when DVD's got big they gave us the complete film and all the cool extras.

I checked the detailing on all the different versions. The Professional was 110 minutes, while 2 others (including the one I bought) was 133 minutes. The DVD I bought was a major step up from the other 133 minute DVD, too, and only about a dollar more.  |
