Unfortunately, I rarely ever get to see a Rockies game, since I live in California and about half the teams in the MLB are from here. I'm stuck with highlights, but I can live with it, since they're not so great, at the moment. That's gonna be so cool for David. If he's half as into sports as I was at his age, he'll have a blast. And those are some rad pictures.

Thanks...
He'll find something interesting but it might not be the baseball. You can never tell with him.

Bumping. Love this list. And love the picture you posted for the pick 6. Who would've known the guy in that picture who picked the ball off and the guy who threw it would end up on the same team in 2 years?

I enjoyed the heck out of making this list. I love digging for pictures and having to decide which ones go best with what I'm saying. It's fun. I was thinking about Manning being on his team while watching a game a few weeks back. That SB was on one of the greatest days/nights of my life too. Me and my Mom were in a Titusville, Florida hotel room waiting to see our first live shuttle launch. We ate take out fajitas and watched the SB on a cheap TV from our beds... Good Times

Awesome. That's kinda what I need, at the moment. A getaway from all this damn working. I watched it on my couch on a cheap tv, too. Cheering for the Saints, only because Drew Brees hadn't gotten his well deserved ring yet. So happy for him when he got the pick 6. Bummed for Manning, though. Ah, well. Manning will get a couple more before he retires.

I was and am happy for Brees, but since then I've been sickened by the Saints as a whole. After hearing that tape of Greg Williams I can't pull for them at all anymore... I already thought their D was out of line that year... they hurt a lot of dudes and tried to hurt plenty more. They should all take it like men and Greg Williams should never be allowed to coach anywhere again. I just feel bad for the city of NO.
They haven't learned much either, I saw them, in the Carolina game this year, rip Cam's helmet off and repeatedly kick him in the head after the play (being able to pause and rewind HD doesn't lie). They are just plain dirty. I know it's a violent game but I've seen them repeatedly do things I've never seen anybody do before... except maybe Bill Romanowski lol...

I thought Ndamukong Suh's play against Green Bay last year was bad.
They kicked him in the head? Why wasn't that all over ESPN?!

The kicking in the head happened fast and in the pile... the cameras and announcers were focused elsewhere and paid it no attention. I caught it out of the corner of my eye and rewound it and watched it in slow motion several times. There was no doubt what they were doing. It pissed me off. I see lots of crazy stuff like that - stuff I didn't used to catch. Sometimes it's facial expressions, referee mishaps, punches, spitting... you name it you can catch it.

My Dad pointed out to me when I was a kid just how rough it is. He showed me when someone would make a tackle, as they'd go to get up, they'd rub their elbows on the guy or use all their weight on him to push themselves up. Kicking is just dumb. Danieal Manning went wild, too.
