Do you think the series has run its course? Should it have ended sooner? Reply and explain your position.
I think the series should have ended with part 4. It would wrap things up in a nice, film noir sort of way; Michael is finally dead, but his evil lives on in little Jamie Lloyd. His evil never dies.
It's like how they could have done the same thing with the F13 series (see my post under that sub-board).
So, what do you think?

The first 4 Halloween films were my favorite (yep, even Halloween III), The part IV ending was a huge shock. I loved it. Ending the series there would definitely add more mystery to the franchise, but I do still have a ton of fun watching the entire series. Yeah, even that horrid Halloween: Resurrection.

no, halloween 3 was horrid, it sucked so badly that the movie had nothing to do with michael myers
