9/11, i hate this day. my grandfather was killed in the collapssing of the south tower. he was A ww2 soldier, he will not be forgotten of his courage and bravery. i miss him

God Bless your Grandpa and everyone else in that situation Mtc. I spent this 9/11 watching the stories of heroes and survivors... that always makes me sad but it's just my small way of remembering and honoring them each year.

My son is 7 years old... and this is the first year I've really talked to him about it. I figured I should explain how terrible it was and still is, plus also how evil the scum is that brought it about. Maybe it's too early in his life, or too late... but I know that people are already joking and acting fools about that day and I want him to know the truth.

As far as the conspiracy goes... I don't believe our government caused it, I can't believe that. I'm sure they knew more than we did and there were people trying to warn them and they didn't listen... but I'm sold on the fact that Bush and the other leaders made mistakes... not treason.

Same here. The whole conspiracy thing is a joke, to me. Bush did the best thing he could have done for a horrific scenario.

Sorry for posting in a thread that's over 4 years old but 9/11 was fucking terrible. It still saddens me seeing documentaries on this event. And aye, I've seen the documentaries on the conspiracy theories around it.

But whatever. I think the whole world was appalled by it. It changed the course of events. I remember seeing it unfold as a 14 year old kid.

As a Scotsman who is far away from America, and so not having a personal connection or whatever, I felt the terror and sadness that came from that day and my heart went out to the people affected. To this day it is still the same. We are all in this world together and as a guy from this island, you Americans are our bros.

When it comes to 9/11, its upsetting to me that the fact of the matter is that Bush (Jr.) was in cahoots just to start the 2 (really unnecessary) wars.
