I remember that.
I watched the remake of Carrie today. It was OK... the effects were silly at time, but that kind of added to it. What blew me away was how good [[Angela Bettis]] was as Carrie. That had to be one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. She BECAME that character. The film would have been pretty much nothing without her.

Neither did I until I caught it on a movie channel.
I finally got to see that movie Monsters tonight. Man, it was good. I wouldn't call it scary, but it was really different... I'd go so far as to call it brilliant.

I haven't gone out to see movies in about 3 months. Way too long.  Been wanting to see the Fright Night remake, jeez, all kinds of things I missed out on.  |

Paranormal 3 was pretty good. I thought for sure that it would be the last of the series for some reason. But it still left a lot of questions. So I'm expecting another one.

Unfortunately, the only movie I've seen in theaters over the last.... 3 months (?) or so is Paranormal Activity 3. I've missed out on so many flicks I've wanted to catch in theaters. I would like to see that one, though. The trailer looks great.. And have you seen the one on youtube? They took it down, but the video starts out as if it's just a girl in a bikini, then some other worldly alien-like creature busts through the youtube video, making it look like it's coming to get you. It's really neat.

I wound up skipping the movie today. It was so nice outside - the Fall colors are starting and there is a front moving in. So the sky was bright blue and gray and it was about 60 degrees! Me and Zero went up to one of my favorite spots by a creek and just walked around taking pictures... Zero took most of the pictures  I will have to check out that trailer if I can find it.
