mXc: Jason's All-Time Top 5 Contestants

Each contestant's ranking is heavily influenced by their personality and their run in the contest. Announcer dialogue fills out the tier two level of the ranking process. Name creativity helps a bit, as well. Videos will be posted of each contestant's run. The video I post may have the full contest, so I will provide the time where the run begins and ends for easy viewing.
I have not quite finished the series, but if any contestant surpasses, I will notify my edit. Also, I may add a top ten after I've finished viewing the entire show. With all that said:

Jimmy Downs

Jimmy Downs' run in Brass Balls marks the shortest run on my list, and possibly the shortest run for any contestant throughout the show. His incoherent dialogue squeaked him into my honorable mention.

Rob Tussin

Possibly the most memorable elimination ever is the pre-Sinkers & Floaters warmup of Rob Tussin. Right before the run, Tussin attempts to land a backflip, failing miserably, yet, immediately attempts to run through the course. But he seems to do it without the use of his equilibrium, as he looks like a drunken sailor jumping from Floater to Sinker.

Josh Tanner
1:13 - 1:30

Josh Tanner's impressive run is not quite as impressive as his voice. Judging by the raspy tone, the little buggard clearly needs to lay off the smokes. The dialogue gets me every time.

Tamela Lee

Barfy, belchy, Tamela Lee's run on log drop looks to be one of the most painful eliminations in mXc. If the saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" is true, then gassy Tamela Lee just might be the queen of the most painful elimination.

Dee Oliver

Cute little Dee Oliver's run in Brass Balls is one of the most unique in mXc, as she repeatedly takes it in the butt over and over and still manages to continue until she finally takes one in the noggin' and goes down in one of the most epic runs ever.

Roman Phife
3:38 - 4:48

Roman Phife is addicted to adult film soundtracks, and actually provides his own whackin' music throughout his hilarious run through the Dash of Death course. This one just had it all. Beginning with a goofy fall, taking a dingle-ball to the head and even donating an organ during the course, this run has been a favorite since the show began and never fails to make me laugh.

Looks like fun... I've not caught an episode of this new rebranded version of this. Marii and I used to watch the old Japanese shows all the time on G4 - many years ago. It never failed to provide laughs... and make me wish I could have been a participant when I was young and healthy. I have no doubt I would have had a shot to do well.

We used to build extreme obstacle courses and run them out in the woods right here at home. Most of my friends couldn't even finish them and if they did they couldn't keep up with my speed. My cousin would come close but he was a Navy Seal/Diver so my competition was pretty steep there. It's really amazing none of us were ever killed.

I'd give several hundred dollars for an old picture of me that used to hang on the Boy Scout troop cabin wall - it was of me in mid air as I jumped six wine barrels lined up. I will never forget that jump as long as I live and I still can't believe I cleared it. (Not meaning to brag, just recalling the good ole days.)

I have all the seasons of mXc on DVD and in the special features of each disc, there is an episode of the original show that mXc bases it off of, Takeshi's Castle. It looks like fun. It makes me want to do Ninja Warrior. I think I can do it.

Gotta brag once in a while. It sounds like an amazing feat. How big were the wine barrels? And what did the obstacle courses you built consist of?

Our obstacle courses had everything... just a big mess of randomness: trees to climb, trees to walk across creeks on, walking/running on all sorts of things balancing without touching the ground, long jumps over and off of stuff. It is what is known as Parkour or free running now.

Sometimes I'd just go out to a big creek or small river that had lots of boulders and spend hours just running and jumping around. I never really thought of any of it as a skill until I saw these Ninja Warrior type shows... then I wished I could have been in one. Not saying I would have won... but I wouldn't have sucked.

Bummer you couldn't have tried out. I've never actually seen the Ninja Warrior show, but I've seen clips. I think I could give it a good run. It all stems from my childhood. All the kids made fun of me for being small........ and white So I made up for my smallness in athleticism. I'm no freak of nature, either, though.

Overall, I'm quite proud of this thread.

Of all the years I've had in martial arts training, I've never actually gotten into a fight. Mainly because they don't just teach you the art of fighting. Never use what you know until you absolutely have to. One of my favorite things about it.

I didn't quite finish all the seasons of this show. Left in the middle of season 4. I started a Bondathon and ranked them all.
