Hello everyone my name is chaz. I have been a horror movie fan since I can remember. I’ve always been the kind of person who goes just a little further than most when it comes to their love of horror movies. To me it’s just not just a movie to watch or something you just like. It’s a love, or something you hold special to you. Sure it’s just a movie and sure it’s all fiction but that’s the beauty of it. All our lives are all real and boring so why not take a chance and love something most people don’t even care about or don’t like because there pansies and don’t like horror movies. I love horror movies especially the ones I’ve grown up to love. Hellraiser 1,2,3,4,5, the rest heh, Halloween, Friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street, phantasm 1,2,3,4, the blob, I spit on your grave, saw, house on haunted hill, people under the stairs, return of the living dead, strangeland and so on and so on. That was just to name a few. When I was 15 I started hanging up horror movie posters in my room and by the time I was 17, I had people coming over just to check out my room. I kept it nice and neat but very extravagant and rare to its kind. Most people don’t like horror movies and that’s fine with me. It’s the thrill of the kill or the awesomeness of the monster (wolf man’s got nards…) or the high tension of the thrill. I’m sure there are many people out there like me…. come share the love of the horror baby. What is your pleasure sir? ?? Attachments:

So what does anyone think about Hellraiser? I like the story line and how the cynobytes come and take you. And how kirsty has to battle wits with pinhead. What do u think. I know the new one sucked so much ass I simply couldn’t believe it. It was absolute garbage and I’m not one to talk crap about movies. And that’s another thing. I hate when people talk crap about rob zombie and his movies. How can people not like his movies. FOR REAL. People have to understand that when rob zombie made the Halloween movies he made them in HIS own image. He used john carpenters idea and ran with it. He kept the story close to the original but twisted it in his own way and I thought he done a good job. House of a 1000 corpses was a complete original idea and it was fresh with a new kind of horror. And I think we need that. I’m sick of the same ol crap over and over and over again. We need fresh new ideas and a new step up of horror.

Hey, Chaz. Welcome. I agree with pretty much everything you stated. And I can relate to a lot of it, as well. I have a divine appreciation for film that carries through all genres. Especially horror, of course. I also relate to your poster story. I have a huge DVD collection that people enjoy sifting through. I posted pictures of my room just a few minutes ago if you'd like to get an idea of what I'm talking about. jasonfreak.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=4698As for Hellraiser, I enjoyed it. It is not my favorite series, that would belong to Friday the 13th, in my opinion. I also love the Sleepaway Camp, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead, Phantasm, Re-animator and Child's Play series. Only to name a few, though. As far as Rob Zombie goes, I admired his new take on House of 1,000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects. I was not a fan of what he did with the Halloween Series, though. But to each his own, Hope to see you around.
